IC Immobilien Gruppe leases out ca. 90,000 square metres in the 2023 business year

In the 2023 business year IC Immobilien Gruppe leased out or extended a total area of approx. 90,000 square metres of commercial space. Thus, despite the challenging market environment, IC’s own asset and leasing management posted a similar result to that attained in 2022 (likewise ca. 90,000 square metres). At the end of the first six months of 2023 the area take-up had amounted to approx. 30,000 square metres.

The new leases and extensions were accounted for by office and retail areas (each about 40 per cent) and by gastronomy, fitness, storage/logistics and other areas (each about five per cent). In this respect the main focus of the leasing activities was placed on the top 7 German cities (approx. 60 per cent), with smaller markets accounting for some 40 per cent.
