IC Immobilien Gruppe awarded property management mandate for new construction with ca. 22,000 m²

As of 15 October 2020 IC Immobilien Gruppe was mandated with the commercial and accounting property management for the mixed-use new construction “Seeländer Areal” with approx. 22,400 square metres of gross floor area in Herrenberg, Baden-Wuerttemberg. The owner of the property is Herrenberg Seeländer-Areal GmbH & Co. KG.

The property, which was constructed between 2018 and 2020, has a mixed usage structure. About 5,200 square metres of leasable space on the ground floor have already been used since October 2020 by Lidl, Madison, Deichmann, denn’s Biomarkt and Rossmann as retail areas. The remaining areas are split between commercial usage and gastronomy, as well as apartments. From the end of November 2020 onwards tenants such as the Technical Town Hall of the City of Herrenberg, a municipal nursery, a paediatrician and four office tenants will gradually be occupying their new premises. The apartments will probably be ready for occupation from February 2021 onwards, the gastronomy areas thereafter.

The new construction on the corner of Stadthallenstrasse/Seestrasse has excellent connections to the centre of Herrenberg. The newly-designed Seeländerplatz will function as a lively link between the new shopping centre and the town’s historic centre in the future. Both the town’s landmark building, the Stiftskirche church, and the market square and the local retail outlets may be reached in just a few minutes on foot. The state capital Stuttgart is about 30 minutes’ away by car.
