The assets under management in funds looked after by IC Immobilien Group amount to approximately € 2.3 billion. This breaks down into approximately € 2.0 billion in real estate and approximately € 0.3 billion in leasing.
The volume has grown enormously since 2002. This is mainly explained by the transfer of the real estate activities of the former SchmidtBank to IC Immobilien Group at the beginning of 2003, as well as by the co-operation with BBV Holding AG and the integration of their fund activities in summer 2003. Today, IC manages around 15,000 private and institutional accounts.
The IC Partner Concept
Rather than trying to cash in, IC Immobilien Group seeks to share the long-term success of its clients and investors. This explains whay IC Immobilien Group receives a comparatively small remuneration during the investment phase. In the subsequent letting phase the remuneration is tied to the economic success of the properties. While participating in equity investments as a shareholder in its own right, IC Immobilien Group insists on being the last investor in line to collect its equity contribution whenever a given vehicle is wound up.
